Core characteristics and technical logic of fluorosilicone rubber raw rubber

Fluorosilicone rubber raw rubber is a special type of polymer with a main chain composed of silicon oxygen bonds and side chains containing trifluoropropyl groups. In the production process, high-purity D3F, also known as trifluoropropyl methylcyclotriosiloxane, is used as the core raw material and synthesized through the process of cyclic siloxane ring opening polymerization.

It naturally combines the performance advantages of two types of special rubber at the molecular structure level - relying on the silicon oxygen bond main chain to inherit the temperature resistance and rebound characteristics of silicone rubber, and obtaining excellent medium resistance of fluororubber through the fluorine-containing side groups, breaking the performance boundary of a single material.

As a customizable basic raw material, its various universal rubber products adopt ethylene based end sealing design, with a stable molecular weight controlled within the range of 800000 to 1 million and a volatile content not exceeding 3%. By adjusting the proportion of ethylene added, it can adapt to different processing and usage needs. The change in vinyl content directly affects the crosslink density of the final vulcanized rubber.

As the vinyl content increases, the crosslink density also increases, and the hardness and tensile strength of the finished product will also increase. The corresponding elongation at break and compression set will decrease accordingly. In production, relying on the advantage of high-purity D3F raw materials, the vinyl groups on the side chains can be distributed more evenly in the molecular chain, resulting in a more balanced crosslink density and better rebound performance of the vulcanized rubber, avoiding the problem of large fluctuations in raw rubber performance in ordinary process production.

Based on the design advantages of the underlying molecular structure, this finished rubber derived from raw rubber has many outstanding characteristics. It can be used stably for a long time in a wide temperature range of -60 ℃ to 200 ℃, without becoming hard or brittle at low temperatures, nor will it rapidly age and become inactive at high temperatures. At the same time, it has excellent resistance to fuel, engine oil, various conventional solvents, and most chemical media.

When facing media containing methanol, the swelling rate can also be controlled at an extremely low level. It retains the high tensile retention rate of silicone rubber in high temperature environments, while also considering the medium resistance properties of fluororubber. The overall comprehensive performance far exceeds that of ordinary single material rubber products. Combined with precise control of the production process, the final output of raw rubber has high batch consistency, low volatility, no odor, and excellent overall thermal stability, making it an ideal basic raw material for high-end special rubber product processing.
