In the processing of anti slip function in socks, the coating process is the core link that determines the final presentation effect, durability, and wearing experience of silicone. Different process choices can adapt to the needs of socks with different positioning, allowing anti slip silicone to not only play practical value, but also take into account the diversity of appearance design.

The mainstream coating methods in the current industry have their own focuses. Point plastic coating is controlled by a mesh or circular mesh to form evenly distributed point like rubber particles at the bottom of the socks. This process does not completely cover the fabric of the socks and can preserve the original softness and breathability of the socks. It is the most commonly used processing method for ordinary daily anti slip socks. Screen printing coating relies on the precision of screen printing to print clear patterns and brand logos on the sole of socks, making the anti slip area no longer a monotonous color block, suitable for trademark socks that focus on brand recognition.

Full coverage coating will cover the entire bottom of the socks with a silicone layer. For socks with special strong anti slip requirements, such as yoga socks, floor socks, and other products that require high grip, it can provide a stable anti slip effect with full coverage. Embossing coating requires the use of customized molds to achieve embossing and shaping, ultimately forming a three-dimensional silicone pattern on the sole of the socks. This not only enhances local anti slip friction, but also creates a more design oriented appearance.

The entire coating process has a rigorous sequential logic, and each step directly affects the quality of the final product. The first step in processing is to mix the two types of adhesive according to the corresponding A and B component ratios of the product, thoroughly stirring and mixing them evenly to avoid incomplete curing caused by uneven local mixing ratios. After the mixing is completed, it should immediately enter the defoaming process, and the bubbles carried in the adhesive solution should be removed by vacuum equipment to prevent pinholes and gaps in the silicone layer after coating, which will affect the overall bonding strength and appearance flatness.

The processed adhesive can enter the coating process, and according to the selected process, it is matched with a screen, circular screen or scraper equipment to accurately apply silicone to the designated area of the sock sole. The thickness and position of the adhesive layer are controlled to avoid the adhesive overflowing to non target areas and affecting the wearing experience. After the coating is completed, it enters the curing stage, and the socks are sent to the baking equipment for vulcanization at 150 ℃. Finally, after the inspection process, the anti slip effect of the finished product, the adhesion strength between the silicone and the fabric are checked one by one, and the unqualified products with delamination and missing glue are removed. The entire process is considered complete.

In actual production, the most typical curing condition is set at a temperature of 150 ℃ and controlled for a total duration of less than 10 minutes. This high-temperature rapid vulcanization mode not only allows the silicone to fully cure in a short period of time, greatly improving the production efficiency of the assembly line, but also ensures that the cured silicone layer maintains high transparency, without yellowing or fogging, and maximizes the preservation of the original fabric texture of the sock sole. During the production process, slight adjustments can also be made to the curing temperature and duration based on the heat resistance of different sock materials and the actual thickness of the adhesive layer, in order to achieve the optimal curing state of silicone without damaging the sock fabric.
