1γ Classification
Mold adhesive is mainly divided into two types: additive molding and condensation molding:
Additive mold adhesive: It has the characteristics of good transparency, easy deep curing, and low shrinkage rate, and is mainly used in the production of precision molds and exquisite replicas
Condensation type mold adhesive: It has superior fluidity, demolding ability, easy operation, and can adjust the vulcanization time and operation time as needed. It can be deeply vulcanized, with stable mold size, heat resistance, chemical resistance, good physical properties, and high tear strength. Among them, room temperature vulcanization condensation type mold adhesive is particularly used for unsaturated polyester products, with good durability and long mold service life.
Silicone rubber soft molds made of condensation type mold adhesive are mainly used for the mass production of handicrafts, furniture parts, lighting components, and other decorative products made of unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin, polyurethane resin, gypsum, and paraffin wax. They can also be used for leather printing, transfer adhesive heads, and other elastic products.
2γ Characteristics
Mold adhesive is a two-component high-strength, high tear liquid silicone rubber used for touch. It is a high elongation silicone rubber that solidifies at room temperature and is suitable for very complex shapes or high-precision models. Mold adhesive has good tear resistance and elongation, transparency, and low shrinkage rate (curing at room temperature). If the production speed needs to be controlled or slowed down, an appropriate amount of curing agent can be self adjusted.
Mold adhesive has excellent fluidity, good operability, no deformation, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, no expansion, good tensile strength, high tear strength, multiple mold flips, and can be repeated repeatedly
