Transfer printing and screen printing are common printing methods. What are the differences between them? Screen printing first involves exposing, hardening, developing, and drying the content of the graphics and text on a screen plate. Ink is poured into the screen plate and pressure is applied with a scraper to evenly cover the graphics and text on the screen plate.

Ink is squeezed from the mesh holes of the graphic and text parts onto the printed product. Screen printing requires a flat or regular surface of the printed product, and the printing ink is thick and has a slow drying time. Although transfer printing technology and screen printing have some differences, they involve similar process areas.
