Fluorosilicone rubber is an elastic material that combines the characteristics of both silicone rubber and fluororubber. Compared with methyl vinyl silicone rubber, the biggest advantage is its oil resistance and solvent resistance; Compared with fluororubber, although there is little difference in resistance to alkane solvents, its resistance to aromatic solvents is better than fluororubber. Its good solvents are only polar ketones with large and small molecules. Fluorosilicone rubber has better heat resistance, cold resistance, and compression permanent deformation, and its physical properties are less dependent on temperature, showing excellent performance from low to high temperatures. Secondly, even without the use of plasticizers, low hardness products can be produced. Therefore, fluorosilicone rubber is widely used as a new high-performance elastomer material.
The application of fluorosilicone rubber is mainly in the fields of aerospace, vehicles and ships, electronic communication, precision instruments, petrochemicals, and healthcare. However, currently, the largest demand in the market is still in the manufacturing industry of rockets, satellites, automobiles, and airplanes.
Aviation film: film for valves in the pressure regulating pipeline of fuel tanks, film for ventilation valves in fuel tanks (sandwich film with fluorosilicone rubber coating and polyester cloth as skeleton material used in kerosene steam at -55 ℃ to 200 ℃ and RP kerosene at 150 ℃); Static and dynamic sealing components: gaskets, cups, valves.
