201 methyl silicone oil is a novel organosilicon synthetic material. Appearance is colorless and transparent oily liquid. Its chemical composition is straight-chain polymethylsiloxane, and its structural formula is:

Due to the stability of the silicon-oxygen bond, the hydrophobicity of the methyl group, and the structural characteristics of the methylsiloxane complex, the methylsiloxane oil has good heat resistance. Flashing light, non-volatile, small viscosity coefficient, large compressive force, small surface tension, chemical stability, good electrical (insulation) properties, and water and moisture resistance, non-toxic to living organisms (including humans). In order to make methyl silicone oil form a film on the surface of other objects or make a rubber-like solid substance, it can be cured by heating at a high temperature (250-300 ° C) or adding an appropriate catalyst (usually peroxide). The temperature range of methyl silicone oil is 50-180℃.

Methyl silicone oils with different viscosities also have certain differences in their physical and chemical properties and characteristic parameters. The product is divided into viscosity size, there are 201-10, 201-50, 201-100, 201-350, 201-500, 201-800, 201-1000 and other brands. Other products with special viscosity specifications can also be made according to user requirements.

5. It is used as a high-temperature mold release agent in the molding of plastics and rubber, as well as in food production.

6. As a surface treatment agent on glass, ceramics, metal, leather, fabric, silk and cement products, etc., to achieve the effects of enhancement, drainage and corrosion resistance, mildew resistance, and smoothness.

7. It is used as an additive in paints, oils, cosmetics and other products to improve the properties of leveling and smoothness.

8. It has many uses in medical treatment, such as surgery, wound dressing, injection treatment, blood storage and oral medicine.
