RTV (Room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber)
RTV silicone rubber generally includes condensation type and molding two categories. It is usually made of basic polymers, crosslinking agents, catalysts, fillers and additives. The product is packed in a sealed hose, extruded when used, and can be self-vulcanized into elastomer after contact with air, which is very convenient to use. One of the typical applications of silicone sealant is glass curtain wall. The glass and aluminum alloy frame is bonded with silicone structural adhesive as exterior wall material, and the expansion joint is waterproof and sealed with silicone weatherproof adhesive.
