Silicone foam material is generally composed of base glue, foaming agent, various fillers, catalysts, etc. After mixing, it can be foamed and vulcanized in a short time. Silicone foam material has excellent elasticity, high and low temperature resistance, physiological inertia and other properties, has been widely used in daily life and national economy.

Organic silicon material is contained in the main chain of "silicon - oxygen - silicon" structure, side chain containing a small amount of organic groups, so it it possesses the advantages of the organic and inorganic materials, high and low temperature resistance, radiation resistance and weather resistance (double bond, not easily by uv and ozone decomposition), hydrophobic, physiological inert, oil resistance, solvent resistance and other properties, which is compared with other materials.

Organic silicone rubber foaming material (also known as silica gel foam/foaming silica gel) is a porous, low density, compressible polymer elastomer material prepared by foaming vulcanization at high temperature after mixing evenly with silicone rubber, filler, curing agent, foaming agent and other raw materials. Nowadays, silicone rubber foam is widely used, because it has the excellent performance of both silicone rubber and foam material. It not only has the high elasticity of rubber, but also has the performance of sound absorption, shock absorption and other foam. It is mainly used for the materials with relatively high performance requirements such as shock absorption pad, sealing pad, sound insulation material, insulation material and aviation heat insulation material.

1. The connectivity of organic silicone rubber organic silicone rubber has many excellent properties :

(1) high and low temperature resistance organic silicone rubber at high temperature (above 200℃) environment, excellent mechanical properties, and still has a certain toughness and elasticity. The glass transition temperature (Tg) can be as low as -70 ℃. Under normal circumstances, the operating temperature of silicone rubber is -100 ℃ to 350 ℃. It can withstand instantaneous temperatures of thousands of degrees, so it is often used to make heat-resistant coatings, such as in aviation.

(2) Electrical insulation silicone rubber insulation is good, after combustion, the silicon dioxide is still an insulating substance. In addition, the silicon rubber in the arc discharge, is not easy to coke, because the number of carbon atoms in its structure is less, and its reinforcing filler silica, suitable for high pressure occasions.

(3) The surface of physiologically inert silicone rubber is hydrophobic, so the physical properties are reduced little under humid environment. Poor bonding, can play a role in isolation. And it itself non-toxic tasteless, no harm to human health, can only produce a slight reaction with the body, which also creates its excellent physiological inertia, at the same time, in the physiological aging performance is also very superior.

2. The characteristics of organic silicone rubber foam material (foamed silica gel) silicone rubber foam is increasingly widely used, because it has the excellent performance of silicone rubber and foam material at the same time, not only has the high resilience, aging resistance of rubber, but also has the performance of sound absorption, shock absorption and other foam. Mainly used for waterproof, shock absorption, gasket (seal grade IP68), sound insulation, insulation, aviation heat insulation and other performance requirements are relatively high. According to the bubble structure, silicone rubber foam is divided into three types: closed hole type, open hole type and mixed type.
