Material characteristics:
The two components are different, the material characteristics are different, in the face of some special application requirements (such as no siloxane volatilization, shock absorption, insulation, etc.), often choose different heat conduction materials.

1, heat conduction silicone grease
Low oil detachment (tending to 0), long-acting type, good reliability, strong weather resistance (high and low temperature resistance, water vapor resistance, ozone resistance, aging resistance, etc.), good wetting effect of contact surface, effectively reduce interface thermal resistance, etc.
2, thermal conductivity silicone sheet
Double-sided self-adhesive, high electrical insulation, good temperature resistance, high softness, high compliance, low compression force application, high compression ratio and so on.

Application objects:
These two kinds of thermal conductivity materials can be widely used in parts of various industries, such as power supply, mobile phone, LED, automotive electronics, communications, computers, home appliances and other industries. Therefore, for different electronic components, the corresponding thermal conductivity interface materials should be selected according to their characteristics.

1, heat conduction silicone grease
Paste of high thermal conductivity products, can effectively reduce the thermal interface material between the heat source and the heat sink contact thermal resistance. Mainly used in CPU, transistor, SCR, IGBT module, LED lamp and other heating components.
2, thermal conductivity silicone sheet
Thermal interface material with certain thickness, compressible, springback, double-sided self-adhesive and high compliance. Mainly used in IC, transformer, inductor, capacitor, PCB and other heating components.

Usage:
For different application objects, the use of thermal materials will be different

1, heat conduction silicone grease
Clean the surface of the component and radiator first, and then stir the heat conduction silicone grease evenly. The grease can then be applied to the surface of the radiator (or metal substrate of the element) by means of spot coating, brush coating, or screen printing. If the screen printing is used, it is recommended to use 60-80 mesh nylon wire mesh, choose a rubber scraper with a hardness of about 70, and scrape the silicone grease at about 45 degrees with the coated surface when coating. After the end of the operation, the unused products should be sealed and stored in time.
2, thermal conductivity silicone sheet
To keep component surfaces clean, remove one side of the protective film. The thermal conductive silica gel sheet is pasted on the surface of the element, and then the other side of the protective film is torn off, and the radiator (or shell) is pressed on the thermal conductive silica gel sheet and fastened.

In general, thermal conductive silicone sheet and thermal silicone grease each have their merits. When choosing, it is necessary to take into account the application object, easy operation, material characteristics and other factors in order to make the best choice.
