"Noble" in silicone oil ———— Phenyl silicone oil

Phenyl silicone oil is a product in which some methyl groups in methyl silicone oil are replaced by phenyl groups. The classification is mainly based on the phenyl content and capping groups.

Its main applications:

1. Low phenyl silicone oil is particularly suitable for places requiring high cold resistance;

2. Medium phenyl and high phenyl silicone oils have high thermal stability and good radiation resistance. They can be used as heat treatment baths for metal products, high temperature heating oils, gas chromatography carriers, and high and low temperature lubricants for electronic and electrical equipment. High temperature grease for mechanical equipment such as bearings;

3. Phenyl containing reactive groups such as vinyl, hydroxyl, and hydrogen can be used to prepare high temperature and radiation resistant silicone rubber, and can also be used as a waterproofing agent, softener and other additives for fabrics;

4. Phenyl silicone oil has good compatibility with cosmetics. Due to its stability to heat and ultraviolet rays, it can be used as a cosmetic additive;

5. Utilizing its high refractive index, high light transmittance, good thermal stability, radiation resistance and other characteristics, it can be used as an LED packaging material.
