Usually mention the rubber varieties, most people may think of the varieties and the spot market varieties are similar, about full latex, No. 5 rubber, No. 10 rubber and other natural rubber standard rubber and some common synthetic rubber varieties. Today we introduce liquid rubber.

Liquid rubber is a type of synthetic rubber. They refer to liquids with a molecular mass between about 2,000 and 10,000 and a viscous fluidity at room temperature. They are different from solid rubber products. Solid rubber requires raw materials and compounding agents formulated with different formulas to perform multiple processes such as mixing and vulcanization. However, liquid rubber is not required. They can be prepared by blending various compounding agents and performing a crosslinking reaction by heating.

Compared with solid rubber, they have the advantage of being less complicated and simpler to produce, and at the same time, they consume less energy, and of course they can save auxiliary costs.

However, from the current point of view, it also has many shortcomings. Compared to the production capacity of solid rubber, liquid rubber is currently low, and the price is naturally higher, and a large part of rubber products cannot be replaced. There are also problems with strength and flex resistance. In the mixing, molding and processing of reinforcing fillers, a unique process system must be established. If the process is not mechanized, automated and continuous, it will cost a lot.

Most of the liquid rubber on the market is used for adhesives, paints, resin modified materials, sealing caulking materials, etc.
