Self adhesive liquid silicone rubber (LSR) is a two-component addition molded silicone elastomer that can firmly adhere to various substrates during the heating and vulcanization process without the need for primer or surface treatment agents. Self adhesive liquid silicone rubber, through a special formula design, introduces a bifunctional active thickening component into the system, allowing it to directly chemically bond with engineering plastics such as polycarbonate (PC), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polyamide (PA), as well as metal, glass and other substrates during platinum catalyzed hydrosilylation reaction curing, forming a high-strength permanent bond. Its bonding strength is often higher than the cohesive strength of the material itself.
