One type of PET film for mobile phones is made by adding organic silicon material - polydimethylsiloxane, commonly known as dimethyl silicone oil. Polydimethylsiloxane, commonly known as dimethyl silicone oil, is a type of polydimethylsiloxane with high bond energy and non breakable molecular chains that combine silicon atoms with oxygen atoms. Dimethyl silicone oil has a light transmittance of 100%, is non-toxic and odorless, has physiological inertness, good chemical stability, and excellent resistance to high and low temperatures. It can generally work for a long time at temperatures ranging from 200 β to -55 β.
