Hot vulcanized silicone rubber (HTV) is the most important type of silicone product, and methyl vinyl silicone rubber (VMQ) is the most important variety of HTV, commonly known as high-temperature rubber.
Methyl vinyl silicone rubber (raw rubber) is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic, and mechanically impurity free gel. Raw rubber is mixed with appropriate reinforcing agents, structural control agents, vulcanizing agents, and other additives as needed, and then heated and molded or extruded into various products through secondary vulcanization. Its products have excellent electrical insulation, strong resistance to arc, corona, and electric spark, good waterproof, moisture-proof, impact resistant, and earthquake resistant properties, as well as physiological inertia and breathability.
Mainly used in aviation, instrumentation, electronics, navigation, metallurgy, machinery, automotive, medical and health sectors, it can be used as various shapes of sealing rings, gaskets, pipes, cables, as well as human organs, blood vessels, breathable membranes, rubber molds, precision casting release agents, etc.
