The high-temperature decomposition of fluorosilicone rubber is similar to that of silicone rubber, including side chain oxidation, main chain breakage, side chain thermal decomposition, and various composite reactions. Due to the fact that decomposition products can also cause main chain breakage, the heat resistance is usually worse than that of silicone rubber, and oxidation aging begins at a temperature of 200 ℃. However, significant improvement can be achieved by adding small amounts of heat stabilizers such as iron, titanium, and rare earth oxides, which provide sufficient heat resistance even at high temperatures of 250 ℃. The effect of temperature on fluorosilicone rubber is greater than that on silicone rubber, but smaller than that on fluororubber. Foreign countries have also studied the service life of fluorosilicone rubber under conditions of 150 ℃× 2000h, 175 ℃× 5000h, and 200 ℃× 4000h, and the results are second only to methyl vinyl silicone rubber.
