As an indispensable component of automobiles, automobile lights play an important role in night lighting, driving signals, fog collision avoidance, steering signs, etc., and are an important guarantee for safe driving of automobiles. In the manufacture of automobile lamps, in order to seal the lens and the lamp housing, it is necessary to bond with a sealant.
In the application of lamp bonding, firstly, the lamp sealant is affected by the heat emitted by the lamp. In the corresponding high temperature environment, the bonding and sealing performance must be guaranteed to be unchanged, and at the same time, the organic gas cannot be released and the atomization is generated. Phenomenon, and does not yellow, affecting the appearance; secondly, when the lamp sealant is exposed to ultraviolet rays in sunlight, there is no aging phenomenon such as cracking of the rubber layer, which requires the lamp sealant to have good UV resistance. Performance; the final lamp sealant will also be eroded by water vapor and rain for a long time, so that its sealing performance will not be affected.
At present, the headlight sealant used in China is mainly hot melt butyl rubber, heat reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesive and silicone sealant. Lamps sealed with ordinary hot melt adhesives often have problems such as water leakage, cracking of the rubber layer, poor adhesion, fogging, etc., which affects driving safety.
Due to its unique molecular structure, silicone sealant products have good adhesion, excellent high and low temperature resistance, excellent weather resistance, good water repellency, excellent electrical properties and chemical corrosion resistance. Widely used in lamp sealing.
