Plants are precious resources that nature endows to human beings, and rare and endangered plants are the parts that can not be ignored. They often live in seclusion in the mountains and endure adversity alone. Before these long-lived lives are dignified, human beings need to have a heart of gratitude and awe. Compared with animals, plants are more alienated and quieter; both observation and interpretation require more patience and deeper empathy. As the first clarion call of Suke society's "hand-painted natural book series", the observation notes of hand-painted rare and endangered plants in the world of relic urges us to really think about the history and future of human and nature. In this book, 32 rare and endangered protected plants are selected. While describing their shape, size and variety in detail, they also tell the story of the continuous evolution of their diversity in the long years. The book also contains more than 90 fine hand paintings that reflect the morphological characteristics of plants. They bring the magical and precious side of plants to the paper, lead the readers to the mountains and forests, see the beauty of these plants, go through the years, explore their evolution process, and hope to close the distance between readers and them, and experience a new natural journey.
