Research progress of phospholipid mediated auxin signal transduction Zhang Qun, Jia Qianru, Zhang Wenhua (School of life sciences, Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing 210095, Jiangsu Province) Abstract: auxin, as an indispensable factor, regulates the physiological processes of plant organ development, morphogenesis and anti stress response. Phospholipid molecule is an important component of cell membrane. Phospholipase acts on membrane lipids to produce lipid molecules, which are involved in sensing and responding to extracellular stimulation and stress. Recent studies have shown that phospholipids are also important regulators of auxin signaling pathway. In this paper, the regulatory characteristics, target proteins and molecular mechanisms of phospholipid signaling mediated auxin polar transport are reviewed. On this basis, the important progress of phospholipid signal in response to external stress and regulation of growth and development in the past decade was introduced, in order to provide reference for the further study of phospholipid signal and auxin. Keywords: phospholipid; auxin; abiotic stress; cell membrane; signal transduction
