Phenyl silicone oil is the product of methyl in methyl silicone oil replaced by phenyl, also known as methyl phenyl silicone oil. It is mainly classified according to the content of phenyl group and sealing group.

Its main applications:

1. Low phenyl silicone oil is particularly suitable for places requiring high cold resistance;

2. Medium phenyl and high phenyl silicone oil has high thermal stability and good radiation resistance. It can be used as heat treatment bath for metal products, high temperature heating oil, gas chromatography carrier, high and low temperature lubricating oil for electronic and electrical equipment, and high temperature lubricating grease for mechanical equipment such as bearings;

3. Phenyl group containing vinyl, hydroxyl, hydrogen and other reaction groups can be used to prepare high temperature and radiation resistant additive silicone rubber, can also be used as a waterproof agent of fabric, softener and other additives;

4. Phenyl silicone oil has good compatibility with cosmetics, and can be used as a cosmetic additive due to its stability to heat and ultraviolet rays;

5. Using its high refractive index, high transmittance, good thermal stability, radiation resistance and other characteristics, it can be used as a packaging material for LED.
