First, the classification of rubber mold

Rubber mold according to the mold structure and product production process is divided into: pressing molding mold, die casting molding mold, injection molding mold, extrusion molding mold four commonly used molds, as well as some special rubber mold production of special rubber products, such as inflatable mold, dipping mold and so on.

1. Press molding mold
Also known as ordinary die. It is the mixed, processed into a certain shape and weighed semi-finished rubber material directly into the mold, and then into the plate vulcanization machine pressure, heating. The rubber material is vulcanized under pressure and heating.

Features: The mold has simple structure, strong versatility, wide use and easy operation, so it occupies a large proportion in rubber molded products.

2. Die casting mold
Also known as transfer mold or extrusion mold. It is the mixed, simple shape, limited quantity of rubber material or rubber block semi-finished product into the die casting mold cavity, through the pressure of the die casting plug extrude the rubber material, and the rubber material through the pouring system into the mold cavity vulcanized.
Features: more complex than ordinary die, suitable for the production of ordinary die can not be pressed or barely pressed thin wall, slender and flexible products, as well as complex shape, difficult to add rubber products. The products produced by this mold have good densification and superior quality.

3. Injection molding mold

It is the pre-heated plastic state of the rubber material through the injection mold pouring system into the mold set vulcanization.
Features: Complex structure, suitable for large, thick wall, thin wall, complex shape products. High production efficiency, stable quality, automated production.

4. Extrusion molding mold

Through the forming die of the head, semi-finished rubber profiles of various cross-section shapes are made to achieve the purpose of preliminary modeling, and then transported to the vulcanization tank for vulcanization or used as pre-formed semi-finished rubber materials required by the press molding method.

Features: High production efficiency, stable quality, automated production.

Second, molding equipment
The die pressing method uses a plate vulcanizer. Steam vulcanization machine: The maximum pressure of saturated steam can reach 0.6~0.8Mpa, and the vulcanization temperature is in the range of 158~168. Resistance wire heating plate, hydraulic plate vulcanizing machine)

Die casting molds use die casting machines.

The injection mold uses an injection machine. (The working pressure of the injection machine is generally 100~140Mpa, the vulcanization temperature is 140~185, and the vulcanization time is 1~5 minutes)

Extrusion molds use extruders.
