Mold silica gel is generally composed of five components: base rubber, cross-linking agent, catalyst, filler, and additive. Generally, base rubber, cross-linking agent, and filler are made into one component, while catalyst is a single component. Therefore, mold silica gel is also known as two-component vulcanized silica gel, RTV-2 room temperature solidified silica gel. Its vulcanization is carried out at room temperature, and a suitable amount of (1% - 5%) catalyst (curing agent) is added to the main rubber component to produce a cross-linking reaction, forming a flexible and elastic colloid.

Use of mold silicone:
It is mainly used for product replication and mold production in various industries such as toy and gift industry, craft and gift industry, furniture decoration and decoration industry, character reproduction, architectural decoration and decoration industry, resin handicraft industry, unsaturated resin handicraft industry, candle craft, plastic toy industry, gift stationery industry, gypsum craft and gift industry, mold manufacturing industry, Polly industrial products, simulation animal and plant sculpture, Buddha carving handicraft, etc.

Selection of mold silicone:
According to the operation mode, if it is a pouring mold (wrapping mold), silicone with a hardness of 20 degrees or 40 degrees can be selected, specifically:
20 degree hardness mold silicone features: small handicrafts, low viscosity, good fluidity, easy to operate, easy to remove foam, good tensile and tear strength, easy to pour.
40 degree hardness mold silicone features: making large products, low viscosity, good fluidity, easy to operate, easy to remove foam, good tensile and tear strength, easy to pour.

Structure of mold silicone:
Mold silica gel is generally composed of five components: base gel, cross-linking agent, catalyst, filler, and additive. In theory, mold silica gel can be made with only the first three components, but to obtain a certain strength, "filler" is generally necessary, and "filler" depends on the situation. Typically, the base glue, crosslinking agent, and filler are made into one component, while the catalyst is made into a single component. The ratio of catalyst component to main rubber component is generally between 1% and 3%, and the gelling reaction speed can be adjusted by adjusting the catalyst ratio.

Characteristics of mold silicone:
① Mold silicone rubber should have good operational performance.
② Silica gel has better fluidity and low viscosity, making it easy to operate.
③ The smaller the shrinkage of silicone rubber, the better.
④ The tensile force of silicone rubber is better.
⑤ The silicone mold made cannot be deformed.
⑥ The hardness of silicone rubber should be suitable for the use of the product.
⑦ High temperature resistance, more mold turns, longer service life, better resistance to acid, alkali, and aging.
