(1) Due to the small intermolecular shear and small temperature rise during mixing of low hardness silica gel, it is recommended that the mixing temperature be controlled between 40 degrees and 50 degrees, that is, to improve the dispersion of the toughening agent in silica gel, improve the toughening effect, and also help shorten the mixing time.
(2)0.3phr toughening agent can significantly improve the workability of low hardness silica gel, so that the rubber is easy to roll and mix operation.
(3) For applications requiring high transparency, it is recommended to control the amount of toughening agent added, with 0.3phr as the optimal.
(4) For products that need to add a large number of functional fillers, such as high electrical conductivity, high thermal conductivity and other products, it is appropriate to increase the amount of toughening agent added in order to easily achieve higher filling.
