Silicone is more resistant to high temperatures, ranging from 200 to 300 degrees Celsius.

High temperature resistant silicone is generally divided into high-temperature resistant solid silicone and high-temperature resistant liquid silicone. Therefore, liquid silicone needs to remain liquid, and the amount of heat-resistant filler allowed to be added is relatively less than solid silicone. Therefore, solid silicone is generally more high-temperature resistant and easier to achieve. For solid silicone, ordinary silicone (not temperature resistant) can also achieve an instantaneous temperature resistance of 350oC, which means that ordinary silicone can be removed in a high-temperature oven in just one second without any problems.

Distinguishing method between silicone and rubber:
1. Weighing
Even if two silicone rubber products of the same size and appearance color are used, we can compare and analyze them by weighing, because the density of silicone material is much lower than that of rubber material.

2. Low temperature resistance
By placing silicone and rubber products in a low-temperature environment for three to five minutes, feel the softness and hardness between the two in a specific low-temperature environment. The softer one is made of silicone material, while the harder one is made of rubber material. For example, silicone and fluororubber products that are also resistant to high temperature and oil have a much harder hand feel than silicone in an environment of -40 ℃.

3. High temperature resistance
By comparing the vulcanization and baking of silicone and rubber in a high-temperature oven for more than three hours at the same time: silicone can not only completely remove the odor after the second high-temperature baking, but also discharge impurities inside the gel to meet the food grade silicone standard; At this point, the rubber not only exhibits a decrease in rebound performance, but also exhibits a noticeable pungent odor, and even fractures.
