 Medical liquid silicone usage
Medical liquid silicone is commonly referred to as two-component room temperature vulcanization and addition molding silicone. Silicone components A and B are both flowable liquids, with component B containing platinum catalysts or other additives. After mixing the two components, they can be cured at room temperature or at elevated temperature. It can be used in the following aspects:
1. Manufacturing of precision molds for metal artworks, alloy vehicles, etc;
2. Moulding of materials such as epoxy resin, polyester resin, polystyrene, vinyl plastic, paraffin, etc;
3. Mold manufacturing of large cement components, cultural stones, concrete, precision parts, fiberglass products, and other products;
4. Design and manufacture of high-precision prototype and rapid prototyping design.
5. Dental mold production, medical product production, silicone wax figurines, silicone dolls, silicone products, silicone parts, silicone sealing rings, silicone sheets, and other silicone products and mold production.

Characteristics of medical liquid silicone
1. Not limited by product thickness, can be deeply vulcanized;
2. The shrinkage rate is less than one thousandth, and low molecules are not released during the crosslinking process, resulting in high accuracy of the replicated product;
3. Has excellent chemical corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, can reach 300 ℃;
4. Food grade, non-toxic and odorless, FDA certified food;
5. High tensile strength, high tear resistance, multiple mold turns, and less prone to deformation;
6. Good fluidity, easy to pour, can be cured at room temperature or at elevated temperature, and easy to operate.

The Manufacturing Method of Silicone Mold
1. Prepare a container and a mixer or stirring rod. For example, use two instruments of the same capacity to measure the A and B components in equal amounts in a container. Then pour the A/B adhesive into the same large container and stir evenly. The appearance of the mold silicone is a flowing liquid, with A component being silicone with curing components and B component being silicone.
2. It is best to use a vacuum pump to vacuum the stirred silicone gel
3. Pouring or brushing operation process: Empty the silicone that has been drained of bubbles and pour the silicone onto the product through pouring or brushing.

Precautions for the use of medical liquid silicone
The ratio of medical liquid silicone is 1:1. During the use of added silicone, it is important to note that it should not come into contact with over condensed silicone, as it may not solidify.
