Classification of conductive silicone rubber

Hits: 208 img

Conductive rubber is to evenly distribute conductive particles such as glass silver plating, aluminum silver plating, silver and so on in silicon rubber, and make conductive particles contact through pressure to achieve good conductivity. It has applications in both military and commercial fields. Its main functions are sealing and electromagnetic shielding. The product can be molded or extruded, and there are chip packaging or other punching shapes to choose from. Shielding performance is up to 120dB (10 GHz). There are many kinds of conductive rubbers, such as CONSIL-NC (graphite nickel-plated silicone rubber), CONSIL-V (silver filled silicone rubber extrusion liner), CONSIL-A (aluminum silver-plated silicone rubber), CONSIL-N (nickel silver-plated silicone rubber), CONSIL-C (copper silver-plated silicone rubber), SC-CONSIL (graphite filled silicone rubber CONSIL-R (pure silver filled silicone rubber), CONSIL-II (silver filled silicone rubber molded liner), etc, According to the conductive direction, it is divided into isotropic conductive rubber (ICAs) and anisotropic conductive rubber (ACAs). ICA refers to the adhesive that conducts electricity in all directions and can be widely used in a variety of electronic fields; ACA refers to adhesives that conduct electricity in one direction, such as Z direction, but do not conduct electricity in X and Y directions. Generally speaking, the preparation of ACA has high requirements for equipment and technology, and is not easy to achieve. It is mainly used for fine printing of boards and other occasions, such as printing of boards in flat panel displays (FPDs).

According to the curing system, conductive rubber can also be divided into room temperature curing conductive rubber, medium temperature curing conductive rubber, high temperature curing conductive rubber, UV curing conductive rubber, etc. Room temperature curable conductive rubber is unstable, and its volume resistivity is easy to change when stored at room temperature. When high-temperature conductive rubber is cured at high temperature, metal particles are easy to oxidize, and the curing time must be short to meet the requirements of conductive rubber. At present, the medium-temperature curing conductive rubber (lower than 150 ℃) is widely used at home and abroad. Its curing temperature is moderate, which matches the temperature resistance and use temperature of electronic components and has excellent mechanical properties, so it is widely used. UV curable conductive rubber combines UV curable technology with conductive rubber, endowing conductive rubber with new properties and expanding the application range of conductive rubber, which can be used in electronic display technology such as liquid crystal display electroluminescence.
