The Zhongshan International Young Scholars forum of Nanjing Agricultural University aims to focus on the goal and task of the world-class university with agricultural characteristics, focus on the national "double first-class" discipline construction, and build a high-level academic exchange platform for outstanding young scholars at home and abroad. The forum has been successfully held for two consecutive sessions and has gradually become an important channel for schools to introduce high-level talents. Based on the special situation of the current new crown epidemic situation, in 2020, our university will hold the third Zhongshan International Youth scholar cloud forum through the network platform, more sincerely invite outstanding young scholars at home and abroad to experience and understand Nannong, and promote exchanges and cooperation around the academic frontier and subject hot spots.

Nanjing Agricultural University is located in the ancient capital of Zhongling Yuxiu and Huju Longpan. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of education with the advantages and characteristics of agriculture and life sciences and the coordinated development of agriculture, science, economics, management, engineering, literature and law. College profile
The College of food science and technology has three departments: Food Science and engineering, bioengineering, food quality and safety, and three undergraduate majors: Food Science and engineering, bioengineering, and food quality and safety. Among them, food science and engineering is a national characteristic major, which is recognized as the first batch of national first-class undergraduate professional construction sites by the Ministry of education. Meanwhile, it has successfully passed the IFT international certification and the Ministry of education engineering Cheng education certification, selected into the national excellent agricultural and forestry personnel training program, Jiangsu Province key specialty, bioengineering, food quality and safety as the provincial characteristic specialty.
In the fourth round of national first-class discipline assessment, the assessment result of the discipline is class A (a -), ranking fourth, making an important contribution to the top 1 ‰ of "agricultural science" discipline in the world. The college has the right to confer the first level discipline of food science and engineering, post doctoral mobile station, national key (cultivation) discipline, 4 doctoral programs and 4 master programs.

Forum arrangement

2. Form of holding: the cloud forum for young scholars is carried out in the form of "video main forum + video discipline sub forum" relying on the network platform.
(1) The main forum of the university is hosted by the University, which includes the introduction of the University's talent introduction policy, the academic report of specially invited experts, the exchange and interaction, etc., and is broadcast synchronously on the video conference platform;
