Description:
IOTA food grade two-component mold silicone rubber, environmentally friendly and non-toxic. It can be cured at room temperature or by heating, and is colorless, semi transparent or color adjusted according to customer requirements. After curing, it becomes a soft elastic material.
Application:
Low hardness products can be used for pouring chocolate molds, candy molds, sugar flipping processes, DIY molds, and other food grade molds. High hardness products are used for epoxy resin, polyester resin, paraffin wax, large cement components, cultural stones, concrete, etc. Manufacturing precision molds for jewelry diamonds, handicrafts, zinc alloys, etc.

Usage method:
1. Surface treatment: The surface of the mold or material that needs to be sealed for the first time can be cleaned with white electric oil or detergent water as a cleaning agent and then air dried.
2. Mix AB components evenly in a weight ratio of AB=1:1, which can be weighed and mixed.
3. Defoaming: Pour the AB glue into stainless steel buckets with filter screens, and send them together with the buckets into a vacuum box for vacuum defoaming. The defoaming process takes about 10-30 minutes, or it can be manually mixed and sent to a defoamer for 2-6 minutes.
4. Curing conditions: Adjust according to the mold and application scenario. Generally, the curing time at room temperature is three times the operating time, that is, one hour of operation is pressing, and three hours can completely demold.
Storage and precautions:
1. All IOTA Silicone rubber is a non hazardous material, stored in a sealed and cool place to prevent rain and sunlight exposure. The storage period is 1 year.
2. This series of products should not be mixed with condensed silicone rubber, sulfur, phosphorus, nitrogen and other compounds during use, otherwise it will affect the vulcanization of the rubber. If the condensed mold has been used before, it must be cleaned with solvents such as white electric oil, otherwise the mold surface cannot be vulcanized or sticky. It still has elasticity under low temperature conditions of minus 120 ℃. By adding a certain amount of heat-resistant additives, it is suitable for special purposes such as burn resistant putty, coating, and encapsulation.
